fashionshow and apple picking
i think im going to write this blog in english, its better for me, and i think you guys will still understand it.
well we had a fashionshow as a fundraiser for prom, we had to go to a few stores and pick the clothes we wanted to wear. and on wednesday night. the cafeteria was full of people, other students, parents, the newspaper and just random people. we walked true the cafeteria with those clothes. ( pictures are on here) thursday we went on a trip, with all the internationals. we all could bring a canadian friend, so i brought Stephanie:) we went first in a corn mase. we tried to get lost but i didnt work that good haha. after that we went apple picking, we could pick all the apples we wanted that was kind of boring.. but then we went to a pumpkin place, haha we could pick our own pumpkin, so i choosed one. we were at the bus and 1 minut later it started raining so we were pretty happy:), then we had to go in the schoolbus for 3 hours. after one hour we had a stop, at a store and a washroom. so we eated something and we went back to the bus. i think 20 minutes later. roberto ( he is from brazil) he said I need to pie. so we said hold it a half a hour. so you can pie in the city, he said i caant hold it! I CANT HOLD IT! and then we talked to busdriver, she pulled over on the highway, he flied to the bus, and rant into the woods. haha, everyone was taking pictures of it because it was SO funny. after that i teached stella ( our agent) and a few friends, dutch words, really easy like maandag, dinsdag enzo, when day say donderdag it sounds like dunderdaf. haha we laughed quite hard about it.
i had my first lobster this week. i live with a lobsterfisher so we will probably eat them maby every day. or almost every day. well i hated them i really thought they tasted weard. and i really dont like them. so yeah thats gonna be hard when we have it every day.
well this is it for now i think.

haha kan je niet meer normaal nederlands praten en schrijven marlous,,
hoor je vaker als je 24/7 engels moet praten.

Blijf gewoon in het Nederlands naar je reageren, hoor, ben tenslotte ook je Nederlandse mama! Die kreeft leer je echt wel waarderen, de foto's waren leuk, geniet er maar van :-D
Nu wordt het helemaal mooi. Wie wil er wat leren. Jij wilde toch naar Canada mede voor je engels. Wij worden nu opgezadeld met extra concentratie en af en toe het woordenboek erbij halen. Je bent daar anderen nederlandse woorden aan het leren en nu wil je ons in Nederland ook nog engels bijbrengen. Je zit weer volledig in je rol. Wij zullen ons best doen. Wij blijven wel in het Nederlands reageren, want anders verleer je nog je moedertaal. Het blijft wel avontuurlijk bij je. Wij wachten op de volgende verandering. Ik neem aan dat je nog niet besloten hebt daar te blijven.

Was heel erg leuk om je via skype te zien vandaag!!! Je zult wel geschrokken zijn van al die mensen in een keer. Maar ja, dat heb je als je contact hebt op je oma's verjaardag! Krijg je al haar visite erbij....
Geniet maar lekker van alle leuke dingen die jullie daar doen.

Hi Marlous,
I haven't been looking at your pictures for I think a month, but I just did and Wow! There's my niece in a picture of a beauty queen. You will most certainly be the 'Belle if the Ball'. When I look at your photos it seems as if you're having one big party. But then in your letters real life shines through: an injured toe, being sick a few days and worst of all having to eat lobster. Most people have to pay a fortune to eat that, but you don't like it! Don't you like shrimps either? If you do like them, just pretend to eat shrimps when you have your next lobster.
Marlous, have a good time - without the illness etc. - soon you'll be skating outside I guess.
